Acceptable Use Policy
The activities that are not permitted on our site or services.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes activities that are prohibited when using the website and services of HRUS Evaluations LLC. It supplements our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed to protect our clients, our partners, and the public.
2. Prohibited activities
You may not use the Site or Services to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Infringe intellectual-property rights or misappropriate trade secrets or confidential information;
- Upload or transmit malware, ransomware, or other harmful code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without authorization;
- Send spam or unsolicited communications, or harvest contact information for such purposes;
- Engage in fraud or other unlawful activity;
- Create, host, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or sexually exploitative;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site or Services;
- Copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly share our evaluation reports, scorecards, readiness ratings, recommendations, templates, scoring models, or methodologies except as permitted by your license in the Terms or by law; or
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, request an evaluation of systems or environments you are not authorized to grant us access to, or rely on our evaluation deliverables in a way that misstates our findings.
3. Assessment engagements
We provide independent IT systems and readiness assessment services only for lawful business and professional purposes. We will not knowingly evaluate, or prepare deliverables intended to facilitate, unlawful, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited activities. We only assess systems and environments you are authorized to provide to us. We may decline or discontinue an engagement that conflicts with this AUP or with the acceptable-use policies of our payment and platform partners. Our work is an independent assessment; you are responsible for the decisions you make and for the lawful implementation and use of any recommendation we provide.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to the Site or Services, remove content, and report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities. Violations may also be a breach of our Terms.
